Embody Your Spirit 1 – Forrest Yoga retreat in the Norwegian Mountains


Hello beautiful people,

I am proud to announce a long-weekend Forrest Yoga retreat taking place at Nøsen Yoga high-mountain lodge, on September 3rd-6th, 2020. This wonderful centre offers a variety of activities including skiing, hiking, paddling and fishing, which you can combine with our daily yoga activities. It is surrounded by pristine lakes, meadows and waterfalls, and most importantly, it is easily accessible from Oslo (ca. 2,5-3 hours by train or bus).


Theme – Embody Your Spirit

The intention of the retreat is to use the transformative tools of Forrest Yoga and the connection to nature in order to strip off some of your physical and emotional backlog that may be limiting you from experiencing true freedom and lightness as you walk through life. We will enjoy the medicine of ceremony, chanting, intelligent sequencing and meditation. The sequences will be designed to accommodate all levels and provide you with a safe area, where you can work with your injuries in a pain-freeing way. And because healing can be taken too seriously by many, we will have lots of fun with singing with our “terrible” voices, dancing and playing with intriguing asanas!

Schedule

Thursday

  • 15:00: Check-in.

  • 16:30 – 17:00: Talking circle.

  • 17:00 – 19:00: Forrest Yoga practice.

  • 19:00 – 20:00: Dinner.

Friday

  • 6:30 – 9:00: Morning practice.

  • 9:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

  • 10:00 – 16:00: Break for activities – own time. Lunch at 13:00-14:00 (or possibility to get a packed lunch, if you wish to be outdoor).

  • 16:00 – 18:00: Time for a discussion, bodywork, tips for healing injuries, restorative yoga and meditation.

  • 18:00 – 19:00: Dinner.

  • 19:00 – 20:00: Emotional processing and journaling (bring a pen and notebook).

Saturday

  • 6:30 – 9:00: Forrest Yoga practice.

  • 9:00 – 10:00: Breakfast.

  • 10:00 – 16:00: Break for activities – own time. Lunch at 13:00-14:00 (or possibility to get a packed lunch, if you wish to be outdoor).

  • 16:00 – 18:00: Time for a discussion, bodywork, tips for healing injuries, restorative yoga and meditation.

  • 18:00 – 19:00: Dinner.

  • 19:00 – 20:00: Journaling (bring a pen and notebook), talking circle.

Sunday

  • 6:30 – 9:00: Forrest yoga practice.

  • 11:00: Check-out.

Retreat price

  • Shared room (4 guests): 3850 kr per person

  • Shared room (2 guests): 4450 kr per person

  • Single room: 5050 kr per person

Price includes:

  • Accommodation for 3 nights in the chosen lodging option at Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell

  • 3 nutritious meals a day (starting with dinner, finishing with lunch)

  • Tea, infusion, and snacks during the workshop

  • MVA is included in the price

Transport and pick-up services from train and bus stations are not included: If participants want to be picked up, that will cost extra service 150 kr from Fagernes, and 200 kr from Gol. One way per person.
